The Cat and the Hat
Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration
On March 2 our Elementary students and staff celebrated Dr. Seuss birthday with a variety of activities that included readings, costumes and very special appearance from "The Cat in the Hat" aka Superintendent King. Theodor Seuss Geisel, better known to the world as Dr. Seuss, had written and illustrated 44 children's books, including such all-time favorites as Green Eggs and Ham, Oh, the Places You'll Go, Fox in Socks, and How the Grinch Stole Christmas. His books had been translated into more than 15 languages. Over 200 million copies had found their way into homes and hearts around the world.

MESA Students place in State Competions
CONGRATULATIONS to the MESA students who competed in State MESA Competition held in Las Cruces. The Springer MESA teams competed in three events: Prosthetic Arm, Brain & Nervous System, and ALICE (Computer Programming). There were 153 teams from across the state competing in this years competitions.
