school report card

Springer High School is celebrating our 2018 School Report Card! SHS received a grade of "A" from NMPED. We are very proud of our student body. We have two areas where we still need improvement:  (1) Are students performing on grade level?; and (2) Are the lowest performing students improving more or less than expected?

We have worked and will continue to work to improve in those areas where students have the need. We will also strive to maintain the success we have in other areas.

Thank you, the community of Springer, for continuing to support our school and our students.

AND A GREAT BIG THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO CONTRIBUTED TO OUR PICNIC CELEBRATION ON WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 29. YOUR SUPPORT HAS CONTRIBUTED GREATLY TO OUR SUCCESS!

Recycle 1

We have started an aluminum can recycling project at SHS. We want to recycle as many aluminum cans as we can. Beginning Tuesday, January 3, 2016, we will have a bin at the home basketball games for all aluminum cans. All students are also encouraged to bring their aluminum cans from home, and take them to Mr. Montoya's classroom. Let's make this project a success. We can all be better global citizens. All community members:  We will also accept all of your aluminum cans as well. Please contact Mr. Montoya at the high school at 575-483-3410.
