Students in grades 7–12th will have the opportunity to attend a field trip to Philmont Scout Ranch on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Students will participate in outdoor recreation, team-building, climbing activities, and a visit to the National Scouting Museum.

Students will depart from campus at 8:30 AM and will return later in the afternoon. Lunch will be provided by Philmont.

Please ensure students wear closed-toe shoes and bring a reusable water bottle, sunscreen, and a light jacket or sweatshirt. We are excited to provide this opportunity for our students.

On Monday, May 4th, students in grades 7–12th will participate in the 2nd Annual Steve Montoya Community Clean-Up. Students will be walking around town to help clean and give back to our community. We encourage students to wear work-appropriate clothing, bring sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle. It is going to be a great day!

To help ensure your child is prepared and able to perform their best, we ask for your support with the following:

-Please make sure your child gets a good night’s rest prior to each testing day.
-Ensure your child is present and arrives at school on time.
-Ensure your child brings their school-issued device (Chromebook) fully charged with their charger.
