El Centro will have sports physicals on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the school-based clinic. Appointments are preferred, but walk-ins are welcome. Please call 575-483-0282. Forms will be provided at the clinic.

Springer Municipal Schools is asking for donations of non-perishable items to be taken to the victims of the fires surrounding Ruidoso. If you are able, please bring your donation to the Central Office on Tuesday June 25th. The donations will be delivered to Ruidoso on Wednesday June 26th

Due to the unpopularity of the summer food program, and that program losing it's funding, Springer Schools will not be providing a summer food program. Due to the power outage, busses will run at 10:30 taking students home. For those students who do not ride the bus, parents/guardians please pick them up by 10:30. The power is estimated to be out most of the day.

Reminder: Baccalaureate Sunday, May 5 at 8:00 a.m. at the Catholic Church and at 11:00 a.m. at the Methodist Church.
The academic banquet is Monday May 13th at Sim Brown Gym at 6 p.m. The menu includes teriyaki chicken over rice with roasted vegetables. Honored students do not pay. Other guests pay $10 per person and is payable at the door. Please contact the respective school secretary for us to get an accurate meal count.
