The 2022-2023 Springer Municipal Schools yearbook is currently on sale at the high school office. Yearbooks are being sold for $35 and can be purchased Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. For more information, please call the office at (575)483-3464.
Reminder: We will be handing out the Chromebooks tomorrow, Tuesday, August 15. Those students who have not submitted a deposit will not receive a Chromebook. Please send your $25 insurance deposit.
Reminder: In order to receive a Chromebook or iPad from SMS, each student must bring $25 for the insurance cost before the electronic device is issued. The devices will be issued next week.

The first day of school is Wednesday, August 9, 2023. Note there is a change to the start time: Classes begin at 7:35 a.m. for all schools.

eSports Update: The top sixteen teams made it to state for the eSports Championships. SHS had teams that competed at state in two different games. Two teams competed in NBA 2K23 and one team competed in Madden NFL23. Unfortunately, all teams lost in the first round.
Friday's district track meet on April 28 has been postponed; it will be held on Saturday, April 29, at 10:00 a.m. in Cimarron.
The busses are running today. Please be patient as they are driving slow and steady.
Springer Little League baseball has extended the sign-up for this season through Friday, April, 21. If your child is interested, especially in the senior division, please see the contact info on the flyer.
Sponsor your favorite athlete/coach for the 2023 athletic banquet by purchasing their meal. Your sponsorship will be recognized at the banquet and will continue to help the Springer Booster Club to give to our SHS athletes. The deadline is May 5. Please contact Victoria Barela at 575-224-1302.
The sophomore class' April Fool's Bingo will be held on Sunday, April 2, in the Sim Brown Gym at SHS. Unfortunately, there is no heat in the gym at this time. Please bring a blanket or some other instrument to keep yourselves warm. We apologize for the inconvenience.
