On Thursday, September 5, Springer High School will conduct a town clean up as community service to give back to our town. Drivers, please be cautious as we will have students in the streets as we pick up trash. Permission slips have been issued to the students. Please return them by Tuesday, September 3.
Due to the Labor Day holiday, SMS will not have school on Monday, September 2nd. We will return to school Tuesday, September 3.
ATTN: There is a change regarding the volleyball schedule for this Friday, August 30th. Due to a scheduling conflict, there will only be one game: the varsity team will play at 4 PM. Unfortunately, there will be no junior high volleyball game.

There will be a cheer meeting on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. All interested students in grades 8-12 please plan to attend.
SMS will issue devices this week. Kindergarten through 8th grade must bring a $25 deposit and high school students $50 before the devices will be issued. High school students will be issued a new laptop. Students will not be allowed to use their personal devices in school.
Following the sports meeting on August 15, the Springer Booster Club will sponsor a dinner for the community. Menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs, and chips. We are asking attendees to bring their own chair, a side dish and non alcoholic beverages. Suggested side dishes are pasta salad,, baked beans, and veggie trays.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all athletes, parents and guardians Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 5:30 pm in the Sim Brown Gym. If your child will be participating in any sport this year, please plan on attending.
